RMS, SGL, NMG to Petition World Copyright Org. Over Illegal Content Use

Citizen TV, KTN and NTV have formally notified the government that they will seek relief from the world intellectual property organization copyright treaty forum over Startimes, Gotv and other pay-TVs continued broadcasting of their content without the stations consent. Through a letter by senior counsel Paul Muite, the stations say they have been forced to move to the Paris-based forum after exhausting local legal avenues and because of the government evident bias for the pay-TVs. Sylvia Chebet reports.
