Ruto fires shots at Jubilee for dividing Kenyans

The Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) party leader, Isaac Ruto, has attacked the Jubilee administration claiming it has failed to lead the country in the right direction.

Ruto, speaking during the launch of his CCM party at Ndanai Primary School, Bomet on Sunday, December 4, said Jubilee is incapacitated to steer the country, and should instead hand over leadership to a different administration.

“Jubilee should tell us they are unable and incapable of leading this country,” said Ruto.

Ruto, who is also the Bomet Governor, accused Jubilee of segmenting Kenyans through promoting development in other parts of the country while leaving out others.

“They keep telling us they have set aside money, they have set aside more money. Which money? They are only setting Kenyans aside.”

Ruto, who has been branded a rebel for siding with opposition leader Raila Odinga, dismissed the claims as political howling, claiming he was a free Kenyan and was allowed to interact freely.

“Why are you asking me about Raila? Is he not a leader like anyone else?” queried Ruto.

Governor Ruto is seeking a second term as Bomet County Governor and has over the past months been accused of being controversially against the government.
