Samburu County Benefits From Water Project

The total cost of the water project is estimated to be about Ksh 5 million.

The residents who were previously forced to walk for kilometers on end in search of water for many years now have the good fortune of accessing water.

The establishment of this water project in Samburu County means that the residents will no longer suffer through the drought periods like in recent times.

The water project was officially received from the donor by the Samburu County Speaker, Steve Lelegwe, on behalf of the county government.

For a people dependent on relief food, the prospects of irrigation farming are now real. They can look forward to better times ahead.
