Samburu East MP Shot By Robbers

Letimalo was attacked by robbers as he entered his home at Ongata Rongai.

The robbers shot him in the leg, making away with two mobile phones and thirty thousand shillings.

The Samburu east lawmaker was rushed to Karen hospital where he is currently recuperating.

Speaking at the hospital on Friday night, Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Ole Lenku said Letimalo was in stable condition.

Among those who visited him at the hospital were police inspector general David Kimaiyo and Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko.
