Samburu Governor asks Raila to concede
Samburu Governor-elect, Moses Lenolkulal, has called upon the National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Odinga, to concede defeat and let the country move on.
Speaking in Maralal Town, the Governor congratulated President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta and commended the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for conducting a credible election.
“As Samburu County, we are happy that we stood with our President and moreover, we are happy that our country was peaceful during the General Election,” he said.
He added that losers ought to be encouraged as elections come every five years and they will be a next time.
He pledged to fulfill his manifesto ahead of his swearing-in ceremony on August 21.
