Driver accused of defiling Class One pupil

A case has been filed against a school driver who is said to have allegedly raped a class one pupil from Chebwagan Village.

The minor’s mother, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said she discovered what had happened after her daughter arrived from school complaining of pain in her private parts.

“Upon examining her, I noticed bruises and when I asked what was wrong, she told me that her school driver had defiled her in the morning after he picked her up at the stage. At that time, the two were alone in the vehicle,” she said.

The incident was reported at Litein Police Station under OB 019. A Post Rape Care (PRC).

A medical report from Kapkatet Sub-County Hospital indicates that there were visible signs that the minor had been sexually molested.
