Search for next IEBC boss kicks off
The search for the next Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) boss has officially kicked off.
The IEBC Selection Committee started interviewing the ten candidates who have expressed interest in the position currently held by Ahmed Issack Hassan on Monday, December 19.
Former Mombasa Mayor, Taib Ali Taib, was the first candidate to face the IEBC Selection Panel.
Others set to face the panel include former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) representative to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC), Florence Muoti Mwangangi, lawyer Tukero ole Kina of Muli & Ole Kina Advocates Co., advocate Wanyonyi Wafula Chebukati of Cootow & Associates Advocates, and Lucas Leperes Naikuni of Naikuni Ngaah & Miencha Co. Advocates.
The five will be interviewed Monday, December 19.
On Tuesday, December 20, the IEBC Selection Panel will interview Roseline Odhiambo Odede, Kipropo David Malakwen, Margaret Wambui Ngugi Shava, David Mukii Mereka and Dr John Kangu Mutakha.
