Search on for new Director General at Communications Authority

The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) on Tuesday announced a vacancy for the position of Director General formerly held by Mr. Francis Wangusi, who has headed the body since 2012.

The telecommunications regulator is seeking to replace Mr. Wangusi, who was supposed to end his tenure by last August, but was re-appointed  in 2015 for a four-year term.

According to an advert placed in the local dailies, applicants are required to have at least 15 years of experience of which 10 must be at a senior managerial level.

Furthermore, successful applicants are required to possess a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline and must be affiliated to a professional body.

The successful candidate will serve on contract for a term of four years and is eligible for re-appointment for another term subject to satisfactory performance.

Qualified candidates have until 5 pm on June 18 to submit their applications.
