Secondary school principal commits suicide in Makueni

A secondary school principal in Mbooni, Makueni County, was on Sunday found to have committed suicide.

Mba Secondary School Principal reportedly took poison in his house within the school compound on Saturday night under unknown circumstances.

The educator was rushed to to Makueni Referral Hospital where he succumbed.

Confirming the incident, the school Board Chairman Jamaries Mutisya said a comprehensive statement would be issued later on.

The body of the deceased has since been transferred to the Makueni Referral Hospital morgue.
