Secondary school teacher, Form Three student caught in Narok lodging

Police officers in Narok County are presently holding a secondary school teacher and his female student after they were caught in a lodging.

Confirming the incident, area Assistant Chief Richard Bett said the Simotwet Secondary School teacher and the Form Three student were caught at a lodging in Transmara East on Saturday at 2pm and are being held at Emmurua Dikirr Police Station.

According to Mr. Bett, the suspect – Nathan Kosgei – was busted by members of the public who  reported the matter after the 17-year-old student was spotted at the room that had been rented by teacher.

“Members of the public called me after the girl was seen at a lodging locked in the room with the teacher,” said Bett.

The administrator added that he then alerted the police who forced their way inside the room and arrested the duo after which they were taken to the Transmara West sub-county hospital for medical assessment.
