Security lunges at man attempting to grab Mudavadi during NASA rally

The security officers of the National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal, Musalia Mudavadi, lunged at a man who attempted to grab the Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader during a campaign rally at Uhuru Park in Nairobi Saturday.

The man – yet to be identified – dashed to the podium, where the four NASA principals were dancing and joshing the mammoth crowd, who turned up for the rally.

Before he could reach Mudavadi, the man was whisked away by security officers to an unknown place.

NASA was holding its last rally ahead of the General Election penciled in for Tuesday, August 8.

IEBC had set Saturday, August 5 as the last day for political campaigns, as the law stipulates that all campaigns should cease 48 hours to the general poll.
