Senate Staffer Arrested Over Terrorism Claims Released on Bond

Majid was released on a cash bail of Ksh 100,000 or a bond of Ksh 500,000 and a surety of the same.

The assistant Hansard Editor, who appeared before the Resident Magistrate court in Nairobi, was ordered to be reporting to the Anti-Terrorism police every Friday.

Resident Magistrate Edda Agade further directed him not to leave the court’s jurisdiction.

The magistrate further gave the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit up to June 12th, 2015 to complete investigations when the case will come up for mention.
