Senate Starts Probe Into Wambora’s Impeachment

History was made today when the senate began its first ever sitting to determine the fate of an impeached governor. Embu governor Martin Wambora put up a spirited defense against accusations of abuse of office before the 11 member senate committee and cited his long public service as evidence of his moral character.
