Senator Mositet ditches Jubilee after losing in primaries

Kajiado Senator, Peter Mositet, has defected from the Jubilee Party after losing in the party primaries.

Announcing their exit from the party, the Senator together with former Kenya Meat Commission Chairman, Taraiya Ole Kores, now claim that Deputy President William Ruto and Interior CS, Joseph Nkaissery, were responsible for their woes.

Mositet lost to newcomer Philip Mpaayei in the race for the Senate ticket, with Ole Kores losing the Jubilee gubernatorial ticket to former Interior CS, Joseph Ole Lenku.

The two termed the party primaries as a sham, adding that they were not reflective of the will of electorates.
