Senator Muthama accuses Jubilee of cooking scandals for Ngilu

Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has called on the Government to stop harassing embattled Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu and Interior Cabinet Secretary Monica Juma.

Speaking in Kangundo, Muthama says that the accusation facing Ngilu are concocted yet it was Ngilu who was used to clean the name of President Uhuru Kenyatta when he was facing charges at The Hague.

Muthama added that Monica Juma was being persecuted because she was clean and did not entertain corruption at her Ministry that had been turned into a cash cow by politicians.

The Senator instead accused Deputy President William Ruto of grabbing the Karen land parcel, Weston Hotel and defrauding Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) by way influencing a tender.

He called on the Jubilee Government to fight corruption openly and without fear or favor.

This comes even after former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka accused the Jubilee administration of ‘fixing’ Ngilu in the Karen land scam.

Musyoka said that the Jubilee government tactically planned and executed the Karen land saga with an aim of ending Ngilu’s political and professional dream.

Musyoka, a Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) co-principal, said that Jubilee was up to no good and challenged Ngilu to go back to CORD.
