Senator Muthama, MP Moses Kuria reconciled while in custody

Senators Johnstone Muthama and James Orengo have forgiven Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria over assassination remarks against Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking during an interview with KUTV at the Milimani Law Courts cells, the two Senators said that they were following Odinga’s lead.

“Just Like our leader Raila without any conditions forgave our brother Moses Kuria, Orengo and I have forgiven Kuria without any conditions,” said Muthama.

The Gatundu South MP seemed humbled over CORD leaders move.

“I want to thank Muthama, Orengo and Muthama for forgiveness. I think some things happen for a reason and I think the last four days can only be described as said as something very good for this country. We have created sufficient good will. We have discovered that our problems are much narrower and that our differences are much narrower than you think. It is very possible to unite this country,” said Kuria.

“We can only refuse to work together because we have the ability to work together,” he added.

The three were enjoying a laugh and even shook hands in front of the cameras.

“It is possible for us to work together in order to build the country together and that is the path we shall follow,” said Orengo.

On Friday, CORD leader Raila Odinga said he had forgiven the Gatundu South MP  saying he was only entertaining Jubilee supporters.

“I have forgiven Moses Kuria because someone who wants to kill does not announce,” said Odinga.

“He was just entertaining the people. Lord forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.”
