Senator Ntutu, 4 Mps Detained Over Narok Chaos

Five legislators from Narok County will spend the night in police cells following their arrest over the chaotic demonstrations in which one person died and six others were injured.
The five among them Senator Stephen Ole Ntutu are expected in court this morning to face charges of incitement to violence.
Earlier Governor Samuel Ole Tunai appeared before the senate committee on finance and budget where he defended himself against corruption claims and termed his accusers as cartels dissatisfied with reforms in the county.
And as Sam Gituku reports the Mps' arrest sparked off protests in Narok where demonstrators blocked the Narok-Bomet road at Katakala Trading Centre.
