Seven killed in grisly road accident in Kisii

Seven people died and others were injured on Tuesday evening in a grisly road accident involving a Probox vehicle in Keroka, Kisii County.

Confirming the incident, Keroka OCPD Philip Wambugu said the driver of the probox, which was headed to Keroka from Masimba, lost control of the car as it moved down a steep descent.

This caused the vehicle to veer off the road plunging into a ditch.

According to the OCPD, some of the injured were residents who were beside the road and they were rushed to the Kisii Teaching & Referral Hospital.

The bodies of the deceased were moved to Gucha Mortuary in Keroka.
