Seven pupils dead after drowning in a public beach in Diani

Seven primary school pupils from St. Martins Murang’a have died after drowning while swimming at a public beach in Diani, Kwale County.

The seven were among 56 pupils who were on an academic tour of the coast region.

Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya who visited the area said that he had already communicated with his Murang’a counterpart Mwangi Wa Iria.
