Seven suspected criminals arrested in Mombasa

Seven suspected criminals were on Wednesday night arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Kisauni, Mombasa County.

The seven include; Abubakar Mothar alias Sela Sela, Mohammed Juma Bakari aka Fujo, Shaban Nyati, Mohammed Abdallah alias Baba Yee, Mohammed Badi aka Daddy, Said Salim Ndaro aka Salim Madiro and Seif Kai Makembamba aka Biggy.

They are suspected to have been involved in various criminal activities in the area.

The suspects were smoked out of their hideouts by the detectives following tip off from members of the public.

They remain in police custody awaiting interrogation and subsequent arraignment in court as investigations continue.
