Several injured in botched terror attack

Four people have been injured after a vehicle they were travelling in was attacked by suspected Al Shabaab militants at Lango La Simba area in Tana River County.

It is believed that the PSV bus was travelling from Mijira in Kipini area through Lamu.

However, reliable sources indicate that police officers on an escort vehicle were sent to combat the perpetrators and were able to contain the situation.
