What lengths would you go to keep your source of income? Well while some argue that there are limits, there are those who will stop at nothing if only to keep that precious shilling coming their way. It is the case in Korogocho slums where sex workers are doing business without using the conventional protection, condom, to protect themselves from contracting sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS. Instead they use a drug that is normally administered in hospitals to victims of rape which is supposed to reduce the chances of the victim from becoming HIV positive. Anne Mawathe tells us why.
