Siaya Senator’s Car Involved In An Accident

The accident occurred near Nyamunga primary school along the busy Kisumu-Busia highway.

Speaking to the press, North-Ugenya ward representative Benson Omondi said that the pick-up lost control and veered-off the road before hitting the man together with his passenger.

The passenger is reported to have sustained serious injuries.

Omondi added that the driver of the car and his passenger were also taken to the Busia district hospital for treatment.

The county assembly member then alerted police who towed the damaged car to Busia police station.

The body of the deceased was taken to Busia district hospital mortuary, awaiting post-mortem.
