Sideshows will not help us, NASA MP tells Raila

Matungulu legislator Stephen Mule has called on NASA leader Raila Odinga to stop holding Kenyans at ransom and accept to sit down and talk with President Uhuru Kenyatta for a better Kenya.

Mule urged the opposition outfit to realise that time and dates were ticking by and they (NASA) need to do their mandated work of over-sighting the government.

“Sideshows will not help us. The foot soldiers in parliament cannot continue walking out when they’re supposed to oversight who is in power. I believe God is on this country’s side. If this country did not burn on 30th January, it will never burn,” said Mule.

“Raila and Uhuru should bring what they both have on the table together to move this country forward,” he added.

Mule, who was elected on a Wiper Party ticket, was speaking during the launch of a new dining hall at Matungulu Girls Secondary School in Machakos County.

“If we cannot change the situation, then we need to find a solution to move forward,” added the MP, asking Odinga to abandon his recent “sideshows” and instead accept to sit down and talk with the government.

Mule further called on Jubilee to respect the courts, noting that it was the same courts that confirmed their victory, hence, they should not defy court rulings.

He cited the case of deported opposition politician Miguna Miguna as an instance of double standards from the government.
