Six suspected thugs shot dead in Machakos

Police have shot dead six suspected gangsters in two separate incidents in Kathaani and Mukukuni  markets  along Kathiani -Kangundo road in Machakos county .

According to Kangundo OCPD  Samuel Ampiu, the suspected robbers were shot dead on Saturday 2nd December morning  by officers from the flying squad  unit who were trailing the group that was in a hired car before a shooting occurred.

Three of the gangsters were gunned down at Kathaana while their colleagues were trailed and killed at Mukukuni.

The group is said to be behind a series of robberies in Nairobi and usually run to hide in Kathiani.

Bullets, police communication gadget and electronic goods were recovered during the incident.
