Six-year-old boy mauled to death by leopard in Kajiado

A six-year-old boy was Friday morning mauled to death by a leopard in Orgira village, Ololtulugum location in Kajiado Central.

The family spokesman, Joshua Marine, said the boy was in the company of other children herding goats during morning hours when the attack by the leopard happened.

In several occasions, Kajiado residents have been experiencing human wildlife conflict resulting to loss of property and even life.

Confirming the incident, Ahmed Hillo, the Mashuru Sub-county Commander said the leopard that attacked the child escaped after the incident.

The body of the deceased was moved to Kajiado County Referral Hospital mortuary.
