Slain city lawyer Robert Chesang laid to rest

The slain city lawyer Robert Chesang was laid to rest on Saturday at Kalabata village in Baringo North.

The deceased was shot dead by armed men on February 17, 2019 at his Lukenya home in Machakos County.

His wife, Maisy Omung’ala, a magistrate, is among other suspects who have been arrested in connection with his death.

Magistrate Pauline Maisy Chesang, the wife of the deceased and her two children were not present at the burial.

She is expected to take plea on April 9, 2019, alongside three other suspects, over the murder of Chesang.

Family and friends who eulogised him said he was a good man and prayed for justice to be served to those who killed him.
