Sonko accuses Kideros Chief of Staff of fabricating video

Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko, has accused Nairobi Governor, Dr. Evans Kidero’s Chief of Staff, George Wainaina, for allegedly releasing a corrupted video showing him as a locker room schmoozer.

In the video, the Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful is given a bottle of whiskey as a present, which according to one of the sources,  is a commensurate for sexual escapades.

The allegedly fabricated video shows Sonko, who appears totaled, uttering unprintable words.

The event allegedly took place in 2016, where the governor hopeful was in a meeting with Runda Residents Association, who bankrolled him to vie for the governor’s seat after sidestepping  Kidero for  proving ineffective.

The bruising relationship between Wainaina and Sonko brewed over City Hall corruption scandal, which Kidero’s Chief of Staff purportedly tried to buy off Sonko with  Ksh 1 million to stop him from rabbiting  unsavory corruption evidence of Wainana and his abettors.

The High Court, however, quashed criminal proceedings against Wainaina forcing Senator Sonko to  file a notice of appeal challenging a High Court ruling.
