Sossion, Atwoli Want Kaimenyi Suspended

Atwoli and Sossion claim Prof Kaimenyi is behind the failed tendering of free laptops as well as a shambolic form one selection process and mishandling of teachers matters.

In a joint media briefing, the COTU and KNUT secretary generals also urged Parliament not to interfere with the probe and prosecution of public servants who have stepped aside and all others mentioned in the EACC report in connection to corruption.

Atwoli has further called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to sack Labor Cabinet Secretary Kazungu Kambi, saying he will provide more evidence of his alleged involvement in numerous corrupt dealings.

EACC DOSSIER

The two were speaking following the release of the EACC dossier which has implicated 175 state officers.

The EACC dossier has forced five cabinet secretaries to step aside.

Two senators, 13 governors, 61 MPs and three permanent secretaries mentioned in the report are under pressure to follow suit. 

In the dossier, suspended Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu is accused of inflating the value the controversial Waitiki farm in Mombasa by Sh110 million with the aim of getting a kick back of Sh65 million.

Suspended Agriculture CS Felix Koskei is accused of flouting tendering procedures by secretly allocating permits to sugar importers.

ENTIRE COMMITTEES IMPLICATED

Suspended Labour CS Kazungu Kambi is accused of being involved in the controversial NSSF Tassia 2 project which was inflated from Sh3 billion to Sh5 billion.

Suspended transport CS Michael Kamau is accused of manipulating road tender awards for his own benefit.

Suspended Energy CS Davis Chirchir is accused of attempting to influence award of tender of Kenya Pipeline Company to Sinopec instead of Zakhem which was to cost USD50 million.

All members of the Parliament Public Accounts Committee and Agriculture Committee have also been implicated.
