Speaker Ethuro tells MCAs to stop corrupt dealings
Senate Speaker, Ekwe Ethuro, has urged County Assembly Members to help fight corruption in their counties.
Ethuro, who was addressing MCAs from Nyanza and Western at a Kisumu hotel on Friday, October 14 called on the Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) not to take advantage of their positions for selfish interests but instead build confidence among potential investors.
The Senate Speaker noted that the spirit of devolution can only be realized if elected leaders play their roles as stipulated in the Constitution of Kenya.
He further urged MCAs to be diligent while discharging their duties as a way to ensure service delivery.
