Starehe Boys Principal Sent On Mandatory Leave

“Two other senior staff members have also been suspended by the school’s board over unsatisfactory work,” said Director Mathwe Kithyaka.

Kithyaka has however refuted claims that the forced leave on the principal was prompted by the drop in the 2013 KCSE ranking where the school was ranked 17 nationally with a mean grade of B+.

A section of parents at the school have been complaining of the drastic drop in performance in the school since the death of the Founder and Director of the school Geoffrey Griffin in 2005.

Deputy Principal Peter Ndung'u will be in charge of the school in the meantime.
