Starehe Member of Parliament, Charles “Jaguar” Njagua, has come out guns blazing, threatening anyone who dares disrespect or insult the president.

The former singer, who was speaking at a diabetes screening at Moi Avenue Primary School, Nairobi said that anyone who disrespects Uhuru Kenyatta will be beaten.

“Sisi hatutaki matusi. Kama unataka kumtusi President Kenyatta, wewe mtusi, na tukipatana wewe utapigwa. Sisi ni vijana na hata mimi naeza mtusi Mheshimiwa Raila Odinga, lakini siwezi mtusi kwa sababu namheshimu kama kiongozi wa NASA,” said Jaguar. (We do not want insults, if you want to insult President Kenyatta, go ahead but when we meet up, you will be beaten up. We are the youth and even I can’t dare insult honourable Raila Odinga because I respect him as the leader of NASA)

Jaguar has previously been involved in a physical battle with Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Babu Owino, when the latter seemed to imply that Raila Odinga was the actual President, and that the Jubilee administration was just the caretaker government.

Jaguar however apologised to his constituents and Babu Owino over the scuffle.
