State Drops Plans To Charge MRC Chairman

State Prosecutor, George Mungai told a Kwale Court that the state has no further charges to add to the single charge of unlawful assembly that is facing Mwamnuadzi and 12 other MRC suspects.

Kwale County Resident Magistrate, Paul Mutai will rule on the November 3 whether Mwamnuadzi and the MRC suspects will be released on bond.

Mwamnuadzi and his accomplices were arrested following a police raid on his home in Kombani Kwale County last week

MRC is a separatist organization in Mombasa with both Christian and Muslim supporters that claim areas around Mombasa and the Coastal region.
