State House Car Theft

Esipisu says the BMW 735 registration number GK A374E is not armored and belongs to the Kenya Police Service and not State House as reported.

Esipisu says the car had civilian number plates when it was stolen from Chief Inspector David Machui.

In a statement, the state house spokesperson has said Machui was hijacked by 4 armed thugs at 9.30pm near Ruai and later released at 2.30am Thursday at Mihango next to the administration police training college in Embakasi.

Esipisu has added that the robbers made away with 60,000 shillings in cash and a mobile phone before driving away with the car, which is yet to be recovered by police.
