State House receives Ethiopian Prime Minister

Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn was this morning formally received by President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House, Nairobi.

The visiting Prime Minister – who arrived in the country yesterday at the start of his three day state visit – was accorded full military honours that included a 21-gun salute.

The Ethiopian Prime Minister arrived at State House shortly before 11.00 a.m. accompanied by his wife Roman Tesfaye.

The Ethiopian First Lady Roman Tesfaye is expected to accompany her Kenyan counterpart Margaret Kenyatta to Kirinyaga County today where she will be handing-over the 43rd fully kitted Mobile Clinic.
