Stolen pharmaceutical drugs recovered

A huge consignment of pharmaceutical drugs that had been stolen in Nairobi have been recovered in sting police operation in Syokimau, Machakos County.

The drugs were recovered in a residence together with several bales of clothes and assorted electronics also believed to have been stolen.

The recovery helped bust an organized theft syndicate.

Assorted stolen goods were discovered in a five – bedroomed house.

Pharmaceutical drugs stolen from pharma specialists in Embakasi on the 10^th of July were recovered as well as electronics stolen from Nakuru.

Police arrested the caretaker of the residence and are now searching for the other perpetrators of the crime.

Police have advised chemists to only purchase their supplies from registered wholesalers to avoid buying stolen goods.
