Stop bickering over party primaries, NASA supporters told

Gem Parliamentary aspirant Mr. Julius Okinda urged the National Supper Alliance (NASA) supporters in Nyanza region to stop bickering over nomination certificates, and focus their energies on the August 8 General Election.

Julius Okinda says that it is high time to bring party politics to an end so that people can start focusing on how NASA can win the polls.

He challenged the political leaders who lost during the party primaries to appreciate the role that NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga has played in this country’s politics, putting aside their personal ambitions to back their party leader’s bid.

Okinda, who is going to run for the Gem parliamentary seat on a Federal Party of Kenya (FPK) ticket, says that they should emulate nominated MP Dr. Oburu Oginga who backed out of the race after he lost.

The Gem parliamentary aspirant who spoke to Radio Ramogi over the phone, emphasized that the losers can seek other roles in the national politics other than creating unnecessary sideshows over nomination certificates.

He stated that those contesting for other positions should realize that the national focus is Mr. Odinga’s presidency, so they should focus on mobilizing NASA supporters to come out in large numbers on August 8.
