Stop politicizing Uhuru’s projects – Linturi to Munya

Meru Governor Peter Munya has been warned against politicizing projects launched by President Uhuru Kenyatta in Meru including roads.

Speaking during a rally in different parts of Nyaki West Ward in Imenti North Sub County, Igembe South Member of Parliament, Mithika Linturi, who is vying for the Meru Senatorial position, warned Munya, who said that the projects will stall.

Linturi said that the President Kenyatta cannot lie to the Meru people and Munya is just a liar.

He said that Munya should instead account for the development he has done in the county given that he has received billions of shillings for the four years in office and should prepare to go home.

Mithika added that Munya is like a dying horse whose kicks are harmless.

He thanked President Kenyatta for visiting the county and launching mega projects and urged residents to re-elect him come August.
