

ODM leader Raila Odinga has urged elected leader to desist from raising political temperature across the country amid the fight against COVID-19.
Raila said all leaders and Kenyans in particular should support each other more so those who are vulnerable in the society during this hard time as effort to deal with the pandemic are on course.
The AU special envoy who spoke last night during the concert dubbed Kenya Ni Yetu also expressed optimism that the nation will very soon emerge victorious and defeat the virus.
“They say every cloud has a silver lining, the COVID-19 pandemic offers our country the opportunity to be self-sufficient, there is a life beyond the pandemic, and we will get there,” Raila said
The ODM chief also challenged Kenyans to pick positive lessons acquired during the pandemic to better their in lives in the future.
On his side, CS for health Mutahi Kagwe pleaded with Kenyans to continue observing the safety measures outlined to keep the virus at bay.

Kenya Ni Yetu concert was organized by Media Owners Associations where several local artists performed as a step to instill hope among Kenyans amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
