A Form Three student at Kalungu Secondary School in Kibwezi, Makueni County died on Monday after he collided with his team mate while playing football.

Deputy County Commissioner Vitalis Ogur confirmed the incident saying the 18-year-old boy was about to score when he collided with the goal keeper before he collapsed and died following the forceful impact.

He further said the boy was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Kibwezi Amref Hospital.
