Sunday school teacher in court for attempting to sodomize siblings

A man was on Thursday arraigned for allegedly attempting to sodomize two boys and trying to defile a girl at Ngoingwa estate in Thika.

Peter Njuguna, a Sunday school teacher, was charged before Thika Chief Magistrate Anne Maina where he denied the charges and was released on a Ksh.300,000 bond and a surety of a similar amount.

The three children, all siblings, are aged 17, 15, and 12.

The court was told that on diverse dates between December 18, 2017 and September 15 this year, the accused, who has been close to the children’s family, attempted to sodomize a 15-year-old Form One student after he took him
through the recovery process of circumcision.

Njuguna is also said to have attempted to sodomomize the second boy, a 12-year-old on September 3.

He was further charged that September 15 this year he attempted to defile a 17-year-old sister to the two boys.

The case is set to be heard on October 12.
