Support Governor Rasanga? Not me! Siaya gubernatorial aspirant

Siaya gubernatorial aspirant, William Oduol, has dismissed claims that he is ready to shelf his ambitions in favour of the incumbent, Cornel Rasanga, should he lose in the nominations.

Mr Oduol, who lost to Rasanga in the 2013 elections, said he will be on the ballot come August 8 2017 when Kenyans go to the polls.

Responding to reports in a section of the media, Mr Oduol said that his political opponents were spreading malicious information about his alleged support for Rasanga.

He said that the incumbent has demonstrated bad leadership and that he cannot advocate for his re-election.

Speaking to Radio Ramogi over the phone, he also dismissed claims that Governor Rasanga had already compromised him to shelve his gubernatorial ambition by paying him Ksh 50 million.

He assured his supporters to stay put, noting that he is in the race to the end.
