Suspect linked to lawyer Elizabeth Kokis murder detained for 14 days

Christian Kadima, the suspect linked to the murder of lawyer Elizabeth Koki will remain in police custody for 14 days.

This is to allow police to conclude investigations into the killing, Principal Magistrate Bernard Kasavuli said.

Kadima was arraigned at the Mavoko Law Courts on Monday following his arrest over the weekend.

The case will be mentioned on January 25, 2021.

The deceased was represented in court by a battery of lawyers led by Law Society of Kenya VP Caroline Kamende.

Kadima who bears a Nigerian passport was spotted leaving the victim’s house in Syokimau on Thursday last week.

It was not until the next day that a domestic worker discovered the body of the renowned lawyer in her bedroom.
