Suspect Vehicle Intercepted In Voi

Police say the container which was carrying unknown cargo was seized for lack of proper documentation.

Highway patrol unit officers have launched a crackdown on trucks especially those coming from the Mombasa port so as to ensure that no illegal or untaxed substandard  goods get into the country.

The container is being held at the Voi police station since Tuesday last week but nobody has come forward to claim its ownership.
