Suspected Cattle Thieves Lynched In Siaya

30 year old Nicholas Obiero and 24 year old Bernard Omondi were beaten to death.

They two were allegedly found in possession of a stolen cow from a neighbouring village.

According to the area village elder Mr. Paul Otemo, the suspects were connected to the rampant cattle theft in the region. 

Mr. Otemo who visited the scene before alerting the police, said the bodies have since been moved to Siaya District Hospital Mortuary to await post-mortem.

He has however warned the community members to desist from taking the law into their hands.

Investigations into the incident continue.
