Suspected kidnapper demands Ksh.100K ransom for 5-year-old girl in Kisumu

A couple in Kanyawegi village, Kisumu, is in distress after their 5-year-old child was reportedly abducted by an unknown man.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Nahashon Juma Konde said his daughter went missing on Tuesday last week after the suspected kidnapper took her to Holo market in the company of other children.

According to Mr. Juma, the man reportedly left the other children and took his daughter to an unknown location and she has not been seen since.

He further added that the alleged abductor has since been calling and demanding for Ksh.100,000 ransom before releasing the girl, adding that he has even threatened to kill the child if he is not given the money.

Mr. Juma has since reported the matter to the Maseno Police Station, further appealing to Nyanza Regional Police boss Dr. Vincent Makhoha to personally intervene and help track the minor.
