Suspected Robber Shot Dead In Embu

The suspect was gunned down after police trailed him and three of his accomplices who managed to escape.

Area residents say the gang, which had robbed items from a shop in Embu Town, engaged police in a shootout that lasted for more than 30 minutes before one of them was gunned down.

Elsewhere, residents of Shauri Yako estate in Embu lynched a suspected mugger.
