Suspected Terrorist Charged For Possessing Explosives

It is alleged that Ahmed Mohammed Abdilahi alias Arab was on March 13th this year found in possession of explosive substance RDX at Makongeni Police Road block in Thika town.

The accused was also alleged to have placed explosives under a seat in a bus at Makongeni in Thika.

More explosives of the same nature were found at matatu booking office in Mandera after investigations.

The court, through Chief Magistrate Lucy Mbugua, denied Abdilahi bail saying that the offense is grievous given the country’s current security situation and he might interfere with a probe ongoing to nab his accomplices.

The case will be heard on May 20th this year.
