Suspects flee, 5K rolls of bhang seized in Taita Taveta

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) on Wednesday intercepted a vehicle and recovered 5,684 rolls and 316 stones of bhang (cannabis sativa) worth several millions of shillings.

The DCI, in a tweet, stated that the suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled during the operation in Ndara area, Taita Taveta County.

The detectives are currently in pursuit of the suspects.
