Swapping Mistaken Bodies

Burying a loved one is not only the most difficult and painful moment in anyone’s life, but when the body of the deceased goes missing, the pain is further compounded. For two families from Kiamuiru village in Nyeri County and the other from Kibwezi, they were lucky to realize that they had accidentally swapped the bodies of their beloved relatives before the intended respective burials. The families had to make arrangements to swap the remains of their loved ones miles away from home at the Nairobi West hospital. And as Esther Kahumbi reports this is just the latest case of bodies being mistakenly given to the wrong families.
